O site noticioso mais visitado em Inglaterra é o mail on line (do Daily Mail). Populista, sensacionalista, o Mail cativa milhões de britâncos diariamente assim como o Correio da Manhã, por exemplo, faz o mesmo em Portugal.
Pois bem, um grupo filósofos liderados por Alan de Botton criou o "The Philosopher's Mail". Aparentemente, o mesmo tipo de informação. Mas com conteúdo muito diferente.
"The goal of the Philosophers’ Mail is to prove a genuinely popular and populist news outlet which at the same time is alive to traditional philosophical virtues. (...) The average work of philosophy currently reaches 300 people.
